Ceramic machinery: positive trend over the first nine months
The Italian ceramic machinery and equipment manufacturing industry closes the first nine months of the year with results which buck the trend shown in the majority of Italian industrial sectors.
According to original data collected by the Centro Studi Acimac (Italian ceramic machinery and equipment manufacturing association), a representative sample of companies achieved a turnover in the first nine months of the year similar to that obtained in 2012.The trend in the third trimester of the year, equating to a growth of 15.7%, was fundamental to these results.
As might be expected for a sector which receives 80% of its turnover from exports, the highest growth percentages were recorded on the foreign markets.
And it is to the foreign market that the companies within the sector are turning with confidence. The majority of companies included in the sample foresee a growth in business in international markets and a stable trend on the domestic market.
The Centro Studi Acimac is the most highly-accredited source of economic information and statistics relating to the ceramic sector. It carries out studies, research, economic forecasts and statistics on the ceramic industry and its related sectors.
It therefore offers entrepreneurs, managers and professionals valuable and original tools for analysis, research and forecasting designed to support and address commercial and international development strategies for the companies.
