10 Creadigit units from System supplied to Porcelanite-Lamosa
A prestigious technological project deriving from the longstanding partnership between System and the Mexican group Porcelanite-Lamosa has involved the installation of 10 Creadigit digital printers at four manufacturing facilities (in Monterrey, San Luis Potosí and Puebla).
The project is particularly innovative in terms of IT in that the data generated by all the printers are transmitted continuously to a single database managed by the Corporate Centre. This database can then be consulted from the company’s various departments to create detailed statistics on real-time production performance.
As part of its upgrade of the end-of-line layouts of the various facilities, the Porcelanite-Lamosa group has also adopted System technologies to handle the various tile sizes with a high degree of flexibility.
The new layouts combine the Multigecko sorting machine with the FV08 dual packaging machine and the Griffon palletiser, or alternatively with the Falcon. A total of 12 Robofloor machines from Nuova Era for fired material loading and unloading and LGV vehicles for box handling have been installed in two different factories.
After-sales support, spare parts supply and technical/graphical assistance is provided 24/7 by the System Mexico branch based in Santa Catarina.
