1,300 exhibitors have already booked space at Saie 2009

The 45th SAIE, to be held from 28 to 31 October 2009, has already received bookings from more than 1,300 exhibitors, 75% of the total number taking part in 2008. Last year’s SAIE was attended by more than 170,000 visitors, over 7,000 of whom were from abroad, confirming the show’s role as an unmissable event for the building industry (a sector that accounts for more than 12% of national GDP).

SAIE will feature initiatives designed to explore the transformation processes that are under way in the building world. These include SAIEnergia, the theme show devoted to renewable energy and low-energy technologies for sustainable building, connected with the competition SAIE Selection on the theme of Low cost & Low energy sustainable housing, and events focusing on materials, including SAIELegno, LaterSAIE, SAIE New Stone Age Design and the biennial SAIEConcrete.


These events will be rounded off by conferences and roundtable discussions which will be held throughout the show.
