Abk Ariana chooses Picasso system

15/11/04 - In this month Ceramica Abk Ariana (Castellarano, province of Reggio Emilia, Italy) started up the revolutionary Welko PCS 225 system, called the “Picasso Project”.

Together with a WK2-4600 dual-piston press with 2,250 mm clearance, this system is able to complete tile decoration with dry glazes prior to pressing. Using robotised applications on the soft material, this machine creates effects that cannot be achieved with any other system.

Tecnografica Sistemi Welko, a company created as a joint venture between Tecnografica and Welko, will also offer Abk Ariana a complete research and development service for new products at its workshop in Castellarano.
As it is equipped with the same machinery that is used in the factory, Abk Ariana will obtain specimens that can be reproduced perfectly in a continuous process with the advantage of not having to interrupt production for the tests required for research.
