ADI Awards presented at Cersaie 2024
Organised by ADI Emilia-Romagna, the ADI Ceramic&Bathroom Design Awards were presented to six companies this year, while four booths won the ADI Booth Design Award.
The ADI Ceramic&Bathroom Design Awards, organised by ADI Emilia-Romagna, were once again held at Cersaie 2024. The jury of experts selected exhibited products that stood out for their overall design quality, interpreted in the broadest sense. This included factors such as innovation, technological progress, producibility, sustainability, durability and usability.
The winners of the prestigious award for the ceramic tile sector were: Mirage for the Nagomi collection, Decoratori Bassanesi for the WĀ design solution, and Ceramiche Sichenia for the Stucco Facile collection. Ceramiche Francesco De Maio received a special mention for “using design as a key to revitalising the craft tradition of ceramic products”.
The three awards in the bathroom furniture sector went to Bertocci for the Officina 3.16 range, Artesi for the Shaker bathroom system and Disenia for the Aretusa whirlpool bath.
The jury also chose the winners of the ADI Booth Design Award, which this year honoured the design concepts of the Fondovalle, Artceram and Argenta booths, as well as a special mention to Simas.
“The ADI award for Italian ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings demonstrates that these products are design solutions in their own right and are capable of enhancing the spaces in which they are used,” commented Emilio Mussini, Chairman of the Promotional Activities and Trade Fairs Commission of Confindustria Ceramica. “The ADI Booth Design award testifies to the importance of high-quality presentation and the excellence of Cersaie as the world’s pre-eminent event for its sector.”
