All set for Batimatec 2025
The leading event on the African continent for the diverse and dynamic construction industry will be held in Algiers from 4 to 8 May.
The Palais des Expositions - Safex in Algiers is set to host the 27th Batimatec, the International Exhibition of Building, Construction Materials and Public Works, from 4 to 8 May. As the leading event on the African continent for the diverse and dynamic construction industry, the 2025 exhibition will once again showcase the latest innovations and developments in the sector and promises to build on the success of the previous edition.
According to data from the Algerian exhibition company Safex, Batimatec 2024 spanned an exhibition space of 40,000 square metres and hosted 900 exhibitors, including 600 local companies and 300 international firms from 14 countries. The event attracted a total of 250,000 visitors.
Italy made up the third-largest foreign delegation after China and Turkey with 59 companies, including 48 with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
Organised by Batimatec Expo and Safex with the backing of the Ministry of Urban Planning, this year’s show will once again feature a packed programme of side events including conferences, practical demonstrations, study sessions and workshops, offering attendees valuable insights into the latest industry trends.
