Assopiastrelle appoints four vice chairmen

20/06/2003 - Following the confirmation of Sergio Sassi as chairman, the Executive Board of Assopiastrelle (Italian ceramic and refractory materials manufacturers' association) met on 17 June to appoint the four vice chairmen, treasurer and chairmen of the advisory committees for the two-year period June 2003 - May 2005.

Gianpietro Mondini (Coop. Ceramica d'Imola), Enzo B. Mularoni (Ceramica del Conca), Cirillo Mussini (Ceramiche Atlas Concorde) and Oscar Zannoni (Gruppo Ceramiche Ricchetti) were elected vice chairmen.
Dante Giacobazzi (Impronta Italgraniti Industrie Ceramiche) was appointed treasurer.

The chairmen of the advisory committees are: Emilio Mussini (Ceramiche Artistiche Lea) for the trade union area; Enzo D. Mularoni (Ceramica del Conca) for promotional and trade fair activities; Antonio Camellini (Ker-ex ceramiche)for the environmental and safety area; Gianpietro Mondini (Coop. Ceramica d'Imola) for the statisitcal and publishing activities area; Stefano Margaria (Rondine) for the trasport and raw materials sector; and Alfonso Panzani (Cer. Settecento Valtresinaro) for the energy division. Directors Giuseppe Pozzi (Ceramiche Gambarelli) and Franco Manfredini (Ceramica Casalgrande-Padana) were appointed representatives of the ceramic sector at the committiee of the Industrial Association of Modena and Reggio Emilia respectively.

Upon a proposal by Chairman Sergio Sassi, the Executive Board approved cooptation within the Board of Giuseppe Pifferi (Marazzi Gruppo Ceramiche) as representative of a major company in the Italian ceramic tile industry.
