Bedeschi expands abroad with the opening of two new branches

Bedeschi Australia Pty. Ltd and Bedeschi Germany are the Padua-based group’s new foreign subsidiaries, bringing the total number of foreign branches to 7 alongside numerous sales offices.

As part of its internationalisation efforts, Bedeschi recently opened two new subsidiaries, one in Australia and the other in Germany. Bedeschi Australia Pty. Ltd and Bedeschi Germany are the latest step in the group’s international expansion plan, confirming its aim to enter an increasing number of strategic markets by guaranteeing rapid and high-quality on-site technical and sales support.

Above all, the operation has enabled the group to acquire new skills and expand its engineering expertise by recruiting around 30 new technical staff. In particular, the opening in Australia aims to guarantee adequate support for existing customers such as Midland Brick, one of the leading companies in the sector, for which Bedeschi is developing a new facing brick production line. The German subsidiary on the other hand represents a real challenge in a notoriously competitive market.

“The subsidiaries in Australia and Germany represent an important milestone in the development of our global business,” commented CEO Rino Bedeschi. “Our continuous investments in this area are aimed at providing timely and effective support to customers. This has been one of our hallmarks since 1908 and is one of the reasons why customers choose us, along with our ability to carry out cutting-edge customised projects based on entirely Italian-built machinery.”

“This is a major step forward that will boost the group’s growth and bring our extensive expertise to other countries,” added Vladimir Grubacic, Bricks BU Director. “Reliability, flexibility and the ability to operate synergistically across different sectors and with diversified product ranges are characteristics that pay off every day and spur us to improve continuously.”

The two latest subsidiaries follow the opening last August of a branch in Hong Kong to serve the entire Far East region and bring the total number of Bedeschi’s foreign subsidiaries to seven, alongside numerous sales offices around the world.
