BMR reports excellent results at Tecnargilla
BMR reported strong attendance and an excellent response from visitors to its stand at Tecnargilla 2014. The Scandiano-based company, for more than 40 years a leader in the production of end-of-line machinery for ceramic tile production, proposed a number of interesting innovations in the field of green-oriented technologies.
Developed from the score-and-snap system used on the Cut Crash model, DryCut is the new low environmental impact machine for cutting ceramic tiles and listellos. Available in various versions for sizes from 600 to 1200 mm, it is equipped with between 1 and 4 independent cutting heads in the standard version. Its advanced technology enables it to be used on even the toughest materials with complex, textured surfaces.
TopSquadraDry is the new dry squaring machine for monoporosa, semigres and porcelain. As in the case of monoporosa, the dry grinding principle for porcelain involves pulverising the removed material and uses dedicated tools and 12 calibrators.
In the field of ceramic surface treatment, at Tecnargilla BMR showcased Top Coat, Top Finishing and Super Shine, three lines designed for different surface textures developed in cooperation with specialist companies with specific knowledge of tools, glazes and raw materials. All three systems share protection procedures based on acid pickling and pore filling but differ in the degree of polish of the finished product: original gloss level with Top Coat, a satisfactory increase in gloss with Top Finishing and a marked increase in gloss with Super Shine.
