Briqueterie Epra chooses automation from Sacmi/Cosmec

As part of a project to entirely renovate its existing brick plant, the Algerian group Epra/Asicom has made a new investment in automation, commissioning Sacmi Heavy Clay to supply a series of machines including a new dryer platform handling system, a new dry product unloading system, a kiln car dry product loading system and a new fired product unloading system.

With its increasing focus on innovation, energy saving and efficiency, the Algerian company will become one of the largest producers in the Algerian market and will be able to count on the continuous support of a solid partner with a strong presence in the region.

For Sacmi Heavy Clay, which manufactures these systems in synergy with Cosmec (a Sacmi Group member company which designs automated brick handling solutions), this is a strategic contract that enables it to strengthen its position in the country and opens up new business opportunities.
