CAI Service / iVALVE acquires Sirsi Valves

The group strengthens its growth with the acquisition of a historic manufacturer of pinch and diaphragm valves.

The Italian CAI Service / iVALVE Group, based in Castellarano (province of Reggio Emilia), has taken a strategic step forward in its industrial development programme with the acquisition of Sirsi Valves, a historic manufacturer of pinch and diaphragm valves founded in 1927.

The strength of the Sirsi brand is demonstrated by the global reach of its products: it is estimated that more than one million SIRSI valves are currently installed in plants worldwide across multiple industrial sectors, where they are renowned for their resistance, durability and reliability, even under the most demanding operating conditions.

This operation is part of a growth strategy rooted in CAI Service’s forty years of experience in the distribution of valves, actuators and hydraulic fittings. Over time, the company has established itself as a key partner in the supply of components and systems for industrial hydraulic applications, standing out in the market for its innovation, dynamism and ability to respond to the needs of highly specialised sectors.

With the integration of Sirsi Valves, the Group further expands its production and technological know-how. Production will be transferred from Lombardy, an area traditionally associated with industrial valve manufacturing, to the Sassuolo ceramic district in Emilia-Romagna. This strategic move will strengthen the industrial and manufacturing network serving the ceramic industry, while also contributing to the promotion of Italian manufacturing excellence in international markets.

The industrial project also involves the recruitment of skilled mechanical personnel, creating new qualified employment opportunities in the Sassuolo area and further consolidating local technical expertise.

The acquisition therefore represents an ambitious challenge: to maintain and develop the production of high-quality industrial valves in Italy using exclusively Italian raw materials and components, thereby reinforcing the prestige of Made in Italy within the global industrial components market.
