Ceramicolor focuses on communication with the launch of an interactive project entitled TheSignOfColor
Federchimica Ceramicolor (Italian association of glaze, colour and metal oxide producers) has launched a new integrated communication project called TheSignOfColor aimed at promoting a dialogue with web users.
Unveiled on 5 May in Spezzano Castle (province of Modena) by the association's chairman Claudio Casolari, TheSignOfColor consists of three parts: a blog, a Facebook page and a concluding exhibition.
Thesignofcolor.com focuses on all aspects of colour, including ideas, useful tips, images, quotes and trivia relating to design to lifestyle, and features contributions by artists, architects and photographers. The aim of the site is to engage with both industry professionals and the general public to help them explore the potential of colour, especially in the ceramic industry.
During 2015 a total of 16 artists and designers representing Ceramicolor's 16 member companies will be invited to offer their own interpretations of the theme of colour. All the artworks will be displayed in a joint exhibition to be held in Sassuolo in late October.
To underscore Ceramicolor's commitment to education, the event will also unveil the custom logo designed by students at the Venturi art institute in Modena.
