Ceramics China 2026 on the starting blocks

The 40th edition of Ceramics China will begin in Guangzhou on 24 June and will also feature an Italian pavilion organised by Acimac.

From 24 to 27 June, the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou will host the 40th edition of Ceramics China, Asia’s premier trade fair for ceramic industry machinery, equipment and materials.

Around 800 exhibiting companies from 20 countries will showcase a wide range of advanced solutions for all sectors of ceramic manufacturing, including tiles and slabs, heavy clay, sanitaryware, tableware and advanced ceramics. Thanks to this wide range of products, the organisers expect the show to attract more than 90,000 visitors from 100 countries and regions, surpassing the 80,240 attendees recorded at the 2025 edition.

The exhibition comes at a time of profound transformation for China’s industrial and manufacturing landscape, with the ceramic sector in particular facing a series of new challenges, including rising energy costs, digital transformation, evolving global supply chains and, above all, a domestic market that is shifting its focus from volume to quality and service, forcing companies to transition towards value-accretive business models.

Unsurprisingly, the technologies on display at Ceramics China will focus primarily on digitalisation, smart manufacturing and AI applications, next-generation digital decoration, production line flexibility, sustainability and energy efficiency.

The seven halls at Ceramics China are organised by product category: Halls 1.1 and 2.1 house decoration materials, raw materials and refractories; Halls 4.1 and 5.1 feature automation and digital solutions, tools and spare parts; Hall 6.1 is devoted to sanitaryware and tableware production plants; and Halls 3.1 and 8.1 host international exhibitors and country pavilions.

In particular, Hall 3.1 will host 17 Italian companies, many exhibiting within the Italian Pavilion organised by Acimac. These include: Air Power, Certech, Fabbrica del Sale, I-Mec, Inkside, Inter Ser, LB Technology, Mectiles Italia, Nitida, Officine Smac, Sacmi, Sicer, SITI B&T, Stylgraph, System Ceramics, Tecnoferrari and Tecnografica. TECNA 2026 will also have its own stand, continuing its promotional tour in China ahead of the exhibition’s next edition, scheduled to take place in Rimini from 22 to 25 September. A special Chinese-language issue of the magazine Ceramic World Review will also be distributed free of charge within the Acimac pavilion.
