Conference on digital decoration in Rimini

As part of the conference programme to be held during the forthcoming Tecnargilla, Acimac and the Italian Ceramic Society (I.Cer.S.) are organising a roundtable on the theme of “Digital decoration of ceramic tiles” with the objective of discussing the most significant results achieved in this sector.
The conference will take a technical/scientific approach and will also explore the development prospects of this decoration technology.

The event will be held on Friday 3 October 2008 at 10.00 in the Diotellevi Room in the Rimini exhibition centre and is aimed in particular at technicians and managers in the ceramic, glaze and colour and raw materials industries, technology supplier companies, universities, research bodies and sector consultants.

The introductory addresses will be given by I.Cer.S. chairman Paolo Zannini and Acimac chairman Pietro Cassani. Bruno Burzacchini from I.Cer.S. will then provide an overview of the development of ceramic decoration. This will be followed by two roundtable discussions moderated by Paolo Zannini and Michele Dondi from Istec CNR Faenza.
