Cooperativa Ceramica Imola continues to acquire digital technology
Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola recently consolidated its relationship with Durst Phototechnik Spa when between December 2008 and January 2009 it installed a further two Gamma 60 digital printing systems. These will be introduced into the conventional production process and divided up amongst the various departments: double firing, high end, floor tiles.
One of the first companies to recognise the potential of digital printing in the ceramic sector when it installed the first Gamma system in March 2007, the Ceramica d’Imola Group purchased four more Gamma 60 printing systems in 2007 and 2008, making it the biggest Italian user of Durst systems.
Cooperativa Ceramica D’Imola products decorated using Durst printing systems drew a great deal of interest from visitors at Cersaie 2008. The success of these products is also due to the use of Inkcid pigmented inks from Torrecid, which are totally stable and ideal for both floor and wall tiles.
