Cosmec receives new order from Wienerberger

The order involved the installation of modern automated handling equipment at one of the group’s Austrian facilities.

Cosmec recently started up a new decorated product production line for Wienerberger, the world-leading building materials manufacturer.

The project, carried out at one of the group’s Austrian facilities, involved the installation of an automatic brick handling line designed for products that are particularly difficult to handle due to their different shapes and sizes. A detailed preliminary study, carried out in close cooperation with the Wienerberger technical department, proved to be crucial to the success of the project.

The system uses simple and intuitive software and human-machine communication devices to ensure ease of use, while its ability to reduce line stoppages ensures maximum plant efficiency and reduced production costs.
