DalTile chooses Sacmi Smart Service

DalTile Mexico has chosen a support and preventive maintenance service for its presses and mills.

DalTile Mexico, a tile producer headquartered in Monterrey with several manufacturing units throughout the country, has chosen the Sacmi Smart Service programme for its mills and presses. The programme includes five years of guaranteed support, advance supply of spare parts kits and scheduled servicing. In particular, the tile manufacturer appreciates the fact that costs can be calculated in advance and line stoppages reduced, resulting in increased plant efficiency and uptime.

“It is not just a question of continuous support but the possibility of planning maintenance in advance, thereby ensuring the efficiency and competitiveness of our production lines,” explains Eduardo Rodríguez, engineering and logistics director at DalTile.

According to Stefano Donzelli, director of Sacmi de Mexico, the new agreement with DalTile reflects the successful synergy between the on-site support provided by technicians in Mexico and the new service programmes organised with the Italian parent company.
