Daugres adopts LB porcelain tile technology

LB Officine Meccaniche recently received a major order from the Chinese company Daugres to supply a new porcelain floor tile production plant in He Yuan in the Guangdong province.

This major contract concerns the installation of a plant covering the entire production process, from powder management and treatment through to the pressing department, complete with 35 silos with a capacity of 70 cubic metres each. The new line is ready to accommodate future expansions and the development of new types of products. It is set up to feed four presses and incorporates two Easy Colour spray-dried product dry colouring systems. With more than 350 installations worldwide, this patented LB system is the most widely used dry body colouring technology in the ceramic industry.
