Del Conca Italia chooses Weflex technology

Following the start-up of the system installed at the Del Conca production site in Tennessee (USA) in 2014, Weflex has been commissioned to manage warehouse logistics at the group's factory in San Clemente (Rimini) using I.Tile technology.

The innovative integrated system installed last October is specifically designed for the ceramic industry and uses RFID technology.

A series of transponders installed in the interior and exterior floors establish passive communication with specially-equipped vehicles to ensure real-time 3D traceability of materials and vehicles.

By using dedicated warehouse management software, the system optimises all picking and handling operations, makes optimal use of all resources (personnel, vehicles, space) and performs real-time inventory monitoring.

The software is constantly connected with the systems installed on board the vehicles by means of an innovative wire antenna Wi-Fi system.

I.Tile is the most widely used and proven real-time location system and brings savings that allow for a rapid return on the investment.
