Doug Edwards appointed new CTO of EFI

An industry veteran, Edwards takes over from Ghilad Dziesietnik

As of 7 January, former Xaar CEO Douglas Edwards has joined EFI Industrial Printing as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He replaces longtime technology leader Ghilad Dziesietnik, who recently retired after nearly 25 years with EFI.

Edwards has had an extensive career as a senior print executive and R&D technologist. Before joining Xaar in 2015, he was President of Kodak’s Digital Printing and Enterprise Business. Edwards, who is based in EFI’s Manchester, New Hampshire facility, has a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Ph.D., both from London University.
