Durst wins new orders in Asia
Durst has seen growing demand for its new Gamma XD printer in the Asian market, which accounts for over 100 of the more than 600 printers the company has installed worldwide.
The biggest market in the region is South Korea, where Durst recently supplied a new Gamma XD 98 system to ceramic tile producer IS Dongseo. The Korean company has been using four Gamma HDR systems for years and has chosen to invest in the new Gamma XD 98 due to its high banding-free printing quality, reliability, production flexibility and ease of use.
A further five Gamma XD systems have been installed in Korea in the factories of Daebo, Hanbo and Samyoung and additional installations are in the pipeline over the next few months.
A Gamma XD printer has also been installed for the first time in Japan, where the ceramic tile manufacturer Lixil chose the new printer partly for the high-quality technical support provided by Durst’s local partner Goto Inc.
