Egyptian company El Shark starts up with Sacmi
Three Sacmi PH 3020 presses and two kilns each of length 100 metres were installed by the newly formed Egyptian company El Shark in the facility opened in Cairo on 24 July last year. Built ready for future doubling of capacity, the plant is characterised by the in-line layout of all the machines, from raw materials storage through to the sorting line, thereby facilitating maintenance operations.
In addition to the presses and kilns, Sacmi also supplied all the crucial elements of the plant, including the raw materials batching system, the mills, the spray dryer, the horizontal dryers, the glaze preparation department and the systems for handling and dust removal.
