The environmental efforts of the Rondine Group
Rondine, the well-known porcelain tile manufacturing group based in Rubiera, Italy, was one of the first to make important decisions to minimise the impact of its production activities on the planet. The various certifications it has obtained, such as EMAS (ISO 14001) and Ecolabel, demonstrate the group’s commitment to manufacturing products that combine high technical performance with eco-compatibility throughout their life cycle.
Rondine Spa is also a member of the Green Building Council Italia and 90% of its collections are already produced with a more than 40% content of recycled material, in line with the requirements of LEED, the building eco-sustainability evaluation system promoted by the GBC.
But the most important recognition is the growing interest of designers and architects in Rondine Group’s eco-friendly collections such as Pietre di Rondine, Metallika and Rock’n’Stone.
