Ferrari & Cigarini Academy 2020: first edition to be held in November
Theory and practice sessions will alternate during the exclusive Ferrari & Cigarini event to be held from 2 to 15 November in the company’s Maranello headquarters
The first edition of the Ferrari & Cigarini Academy will make its debut on 2 November with two weeks of free training courses, during which specialist technicians will provide detailed analysis of the new processes and the various manufacturing techniques used in the ceramic sector.
The courses will consist of theory lessons and practical sessions held in a demonstration area devoted to the Maranello-based company’s technological innovations. One of these is the Compactline automatic cutting line for the production of mosaics, skirting boards and steps made of porcelain, marble, granite and agglomerates. Ferrari & Cigarini will also be demonstrating operation of the BIGslim range, the new system for cutting, drilling, chamfering and gluing large size tiles (up to 320x160 cm) in both slim (3-6 mm) and standard (10-20 mm) thicknesses. BIGslim is the ideal solution for creating kitchen and bathroom countertops and steps by machining slabs made of various materials (porcelain, marble, granite and agglomerates such as Okite, Silestone, etc.).
