Florim amongst winners of "Premio Eccellenze d'impresa" 2018

The Fiorano-based ceramic tile manufacturer won the “Growth and Sustainability” category.

Turnover growth, excellent profitability, a strong international market presence, cutting-edge industrial processes and a strong focus on sustainability, especially energy savings, were the factors that led the jury to award Florim first place in the “Growth and Sustainability” category of the Premio Eccellenze d’impresa (Business Excellence Award) 2018, promoted by GEA-Consulenti di Direzione, Harvard Business Review Italia and Arca Fondi SGR with the support of Borsa Italiana.

The award ceremony was held on 15 October in Milan at the end of the conference entitled “The global competitiveness of Italian companies in the new institutional context”.

The aim of the award was to celebrate the success factors of the Italian entrepreneurial tradition by recognising companies with outstanding characteristics of innovation, internationalisation, business dynamism, job creation, talent development, effective leadership and a commitment to sustainability. This fifth edition of the award included a further three categories: Innovation and Technology, Internationalisation and StartUps.
