Florim Ceramiche adopts Plannet's Compass system

The Compass software developed by Plannet, a Reggio Emilia, Italy-based company that acts as an innovative partner for manufacturing companies wishing to improve their Supply Chain Planning & Execution processes, has been adopted by Florim Ceramiche to modernise its production planning and scheduling system. Florim needed to upgrade the corporate ERP system adopted in its various facilities (based on a SAP R/3 platform) and chose the Compass software for its adaptability to the specific needs of the ceramic sector.

The Compass software was developed using innovative technologies and combines operating flexibility with a rapid response, essential characteristics for effective in-company implementation. Modularity, scalability and an intuitive graphic interface make the tool easy to use in decision-making and strategic activities and provide essential support in day-to-day operations of the various company divisions (production, purchasing, sales and design).
