FM wins innovation award

FM, a company based in Correggio, Italy (province of Reggio Emilia) which designs and manufactures thermoplastic technical articles for injection moulding and also designs, makes and services moulds, has won first prize at the Plastech-Expostampo exhibition in Ancona, Italy in an initiative called STAR 2008 (Italian acronym for Development, Technologies, Applications & Research) organised by the exhibition management company.

The prize was awarded for the ‘Evolution’ project (a line of products for glazing ceramic tiles which will be officially presented at Tecnargilla), considered by the jury to be an all-round innovation. As well as a technological innovation, it also offers advantages in terms of logistics management, lower environmental impact during production and usage, and competitiveness.
