GranitiFiandre reports two-figure growth
As part of its continued growth trend, GranitiFiandre closed fiscal 2007 with two-figure increases in both turnover volumes and profitability.
Consolidated revenues for the whole of 2007 reached 229.4 million euro, 15.2% up on the 199.1 million euro of 2006.
Sales increased in all the large geographical areas in which GranitiFiandre operates. The Italian domestic market saw 2.3% growth and European countries 9.9%, but the best performances of all were achieved in the rest of the world with an increase in sales of more than 47.8%.
EBITDA and EBIT saw particularly significant increases, EBITDA reaching 40.2 million euro (up 41.9% on the previous year) and EBIT 25.3 million euro (79.6% up on 2006).
The increases were attributable to the parent company (24.2 million euro), the American StonePeak group (about 5.9 million euro) and the German subsidiary Porcelaingres (more than 5.4 million euro).
Net profits totalled 14.3 million euro compared to the 0.2 million euro of 2006. Another good result was the 3.1 million euro of net liquidity generated by the group in 2007.
