Groupe Bouras focuses on dry grinding
Manfredini e Schianchi is continuing its longstanding association with Groupe Bouras, a major Algerian brick and tile producer that has once again chosen the Sassuolo-based company’s innovative dry technology to increase its output and improve the quality of its products.
A Drytech-Heavy Clay grinding plant for the production of bricks, blocks, hollow blocks of various shapes and sizes and ventilated façade elements with a capacity of 40 tons/hour of raw materials came into operation in recent months at the facility in Sétif.
The system is equipped with 6 P.I.G. type hammer mills (5 MAXI-P.I.G.-HD mills plus 1 P.I.G/A mill) with incorporated heating system, numerous high-efficiency electromagnetic-head sieves with heating, an MS-3/120 pendular mill with 28,000 Nm3 high-efficiency filter and MS2000 wetting machine with automatic water metering.
The Algerian company has already started up the fired waste recovery system which involves reintroducing waste into the grinding process.
This involves the installation of a Slammer hammer mill equipped with adequate lining and low-wear grinding parts.
