Imerys acquires DAM

02/11/05 – The Imerys Group recently announced the acquisition of Denain-Anzin Minéraux (DAM), a subsidiary of the Nord-Est Group.
Dam, which has industrial facilities located in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Germany, produces kaolins, feldspars, mica and quartz for the sectors of floor and wall tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, fibreglass, rubber and paints.

Dam achieved sales of approximately 85 million euro in 2004.
