Indian Ceramics 2017 sets new records
The 12th edition of Indian Ceramics (1-3 March 2017), the largest Indian exhibition for suppliers to the tile, sanitaryware and heavy clay industries, has come to a successful close at the Gujarat University Exhibition Centre in Ahmedabad.
The show set a new record in terms of attendance, attracting a total of 7,110 visitors from 27 different countries (12% more than the 6,350 of 2016). It also saw a 15% rise in numbers of exhibitor companies (283 compared to 235 in 2016), who came from 19 countries and were hosted in an exhibition space of 12,000 sq.m (30% more than in 2016).
This included a strong presence on the part of Italian companies, most of whom were accommodated in the 400 sq.m pavilion organised by Acimac and the Italian trade agency ICE. At the Acimac stand visitors had the chance to pick up a free copy of the fourth issue of the well-known international magazine Ceramic World Review in Hindi.
