Iris Ceramica Group opens in Old Street, London
Officially opened on 20 June in the London design district of Clerkenwell, the new showroom displays the bestselling collections of all the group’s brands.
Following the opening in New York, Iris Ceramica Group chose London as the location for its new showroom devoted to the group’s bestselling collections. Officially opened on 20 June, the prestigious space is located at 61-67 Old Street in the Clerkenwell design district and brings together for the first time at a single location the products of the brands Ariostea, FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Fiandre Architectural Surfaces, Iris Ceramica, SapienStone and Porcelaingres. Extending over three floors with a total display area of around 600 sq.m, the showroom gives visitors the chance to discover the many new applications of porcelain tiles in visually-striking contract and residential settings.
Skilfully created by the Florence-based architecture and design practice Area 17, the spaces can be converted from co-working areas to conference rooms or event lounges. To celebrate the official opening, Iris Ceramica Group enlisted the help of Henrietta Thompson in partnership with the catering and design studio Blanch & Shock and leading international names in the field of architecture and design, including Mamou-Mani, Jump Studios, Brodie Neill, Marléne Huissoud and Paul Cocksedge Studio.
