Laeis Bucher Technology acquired by Sacmi

26/01/03 - According to an announcement made on 22 July 2003, Bucher Industries and Sacmi Cooperativa Meccanici Imola a.r.l. have signed an agreement to sell 100% of the ownership interest in Laeis Bucher Technology to the Sacmi Group.

The new company is called Laeis GmbH and will continue all employment relationships of Laeis Bucher Technology. Karl Eping will stay on at the head of Laeis GmbH.
As regards sales and production technology, Sacmi and Laeis GmbH will operate independently in the market. The acquisition does not affect LB Produktion GmbH, a production company owned by the former Laeis Bucher GmbH which will continue to supply its manufacturing and assembly services under a supplier agreement to Laeis GmbH and third parties in various sectors.
