Laminam opens second site in Fiorano
A few days ago, Laminam S.p.A. opened a second factory, which was built in record time adjacent to the main facility. The site covers 10,000 square metres and also includes offices and R&D facilities dedicated to new technologies and new projects. Total production for 2008 is forecast to reach 1,350,000 sq. m.. Laminam also took advantage of the inauguration to present its new institutional video, entitled "Inspiration Surface".
Since its foundation, the company has always stood out for the extreme attention it pays to technology and the environment and for the fact that it produces "the largest and thinnest ceramic sheet ever seen". As well as being a technological showcase, it is a fully fledged production centre, which designs new collections under its own brand and on behalf of partner companies, which have complemented their product mix with ceramic sheet, for the most wide-ranging applications. And both the company's research and its production are conducted in close collaboration with its customers.
