Lasselsberger builds facility in Ufa (Russia)
In February this year, test production commenced at the new facility built by the Eastern European giant Lasselsberger in Ufa, Russian Federation.
Built in just two years and located in the capital of Bashkortostan, one of the fastest-growing regions, the facility extends over an area of 70,000 sq.m and when at full-scale production will produce 5 million sq.m of ceramic tiles using state-of-the-art production technology, including Sacmi equipment for the core of the plant. T
he company’s industrial plans are to increase production capacity to 20 million sq.m within a few years. The official opening ceremony is planned for September.
