Laticrete starts up in China
Laticrete International, a leading manufacturer of installation materials and systems, has opened a new production facility in China.
Laticrete (Shanghai) Building Material, based in Songjiang in the Shanghai province, was officially opened on 2 April this year in the presence of Laticrete International's CEO David Rothberg and President Erno de Bruijn as well as a large group of partners and employees from 16 different countries.
This is the first foreign facility entirely controlled by Laticrete International.
Construction of the new unit began last September. It is managed by Bill Qiu and produces a wide range of Laticrete products that meet the Group's high quality standards.
Latricrete Shanghai is committed to training local personnel and to transferring the knowledge required to use the most innovative methods of installing tile and stone to China.
The management expects Laticrete Building Material to surpass the sales volumes of the United States within the next decade.
