LB secures contract with Al Omaraa - La Beauté (Egypt)
Al Omaara - La Beauté, an Egyptian ceramic company based in Cairo, has signed a major commercial agreement with LB for the supply of a Microton MCS 15 plant, a technology for micronising raw materials (silica, quartz and feldspar) for the production of ceramic frits. The plant will be tested and started up by the end of 2010 in the new factory built in 10th Ramadan City, which will produce various types of ceramic floor and wall tiles.
Microton technology is able to guarantee perfect dry micronisation of hard abrasive materials of various kinds, achieving perfectly consistent particle size distribution curves below 10 microns and ensuring high productivities with low energy consumption. Furthermore, the ability to produce automatically and continuously with minimal plant maintenance requirements guarantees the required production volumes along with a rapid investment payback time.
