LB supplies technology to the Mexican group Lamosa

30/06/05 - The Mexican tile, sanitaryware and ceramic adhesives manufacturing group Lamosa is continuing its investment programme with the aim of reinforcing its presence in the domestic and international markets.

To increase the quality of its floor tiles, Lamosa has invested in body dry colouring technology. Two high-tonnage presses operating at the factory in San Louis Potosi will be equipped with Easy-Color colouring lines supplied by LB of Fiorano (province of Modena) and will be used for the production of glazed porcelain tile. Each Easy-Color line uses a model GRC 600 colorator, which is capable of producing 12 tons/hour of coloured powder.

With this important new contract, LB strengthens its presence in the Mexican market, reasserting a technological leadership position that is recognised by porcelain tile producer companies worldwide.
