Logistics software for the ceramic industry conquers Tecnargilla
Intellimag pro-tile, the warehouse logistics solution for the ceramic industry unveiled by Modena-based software house Infolog at the recent trade fair Tecnargilla in Rimini, was very well received by Italian and international professionals attending the show.
This innovative system revolutionises the order preparation process and the use of trucks, increasing efficiency, precision and traceability and cutting costs by as much as 50%. These results are achieved by using a dedicated GPS warehouse navigator installed on normal lift trucks (even those already in use), together with the intelligence of the Active Control scheduler and the computerised Picking Bay Touch for multi-item pallets (widely used for years in the ceramic industry).
Participation at Tecnargilla was a major source of pride for Infolog, explained Chairman Giorgio Tesorieri. First for having represented the IT segment with an entirely Italian-made product, and secondly because "after years of investments and research in WMS logistics software for companies in the ceramic and other sectors, we have succeeded in developing an advanced system, a true innovation on a par with the machines and plants showcased at this exhibition".
For more than 25 years Infolog has been delivering efficient, high-performance WMS and ERP solutions for the Italian domestic and international markets and is a partner of the most important Italian ceramic companies.
