Manfredini & Schianchi expands in Russia
Manfredini & Schianchi is continuing to expand in the raw materials preparation segment of the Russian market.
The Vishnevogorsk Mine Industrial Complex group, a major raw materials producer based in the eponymous city of Vishnevogorsk in Siberia, recently started up a raw materials preparation plant supplied by the Italian group. The plant is designed to treat nepheline, a type of rock that is common in Siberia, and has a total productivity of 40 ton/hour with final separation of 100% below 0.5 mm.
The technology developed by M&S for this process consists of four MS-Major rotating ring mills, which are particularly suitable for grinding hard materials and reducing them to the desired fineness.
The next stage in the cycle is a screening station consisting of eight MS/X/215 vibrating sieves, followed by the final stage of eliminating ferrous impurities by means of eight MS/7/300N deferrizers equipped with neodymium magnetic bars. Vishnevogorsk supplies processed nepheline to large international producers of glass for the automotive industry.
