Manfredini & Schianchi supplies plant to San Lorenzo in Peru
The plant was built entirely by Manfredini & Schianchi do Brasil, the Brazilian branch of M&S located in the Santa Catarina state, while the laboratory tests were performed entirely in Italy. The new plant is equipped with a PIG type hammer mill, an MS-4/150 pendular mill, MS sieves, an MS/38/KSTB-F wetting-granulating machine with moisture control and management and an in-press homogenisation system that uses MS/1130 rotary sieves.
The new plant will allow the Peruvian ceramic company to manufacture a product with outstanding aesthetic and technical characteristics, including low water absorption, a high breaking load, an almost flawless surface and first choice percentages higher than 93%.
