Manfredini & Schianchi technology in Pakistan
A plant with Dry-Tech dry grinding technology has been commissioned from National Tiles Ceramics
The major Pakistani ceramic group National Tiles Ceramics has commissioned Manfredini & Schianchi to supply a Dry-Tech dry preparation line as part of the plan to refurbish its raw materials preparation plant.
The main part of the supply package concerns the stage of granulation-batching of the powders originating from grinding. The Forgia MS/38/F wetting machine (the world’s most widely used granulation technology in the dry pressed ceramic sector) together with the rotating screens installed at the press infeed will allow National Tiles Ceramics to produce large large-format single fired floor tiles with high productivity and with first choice percentages greater than 95%. The technology will also allow for a 35% saving on the costs of raw materials processing compared to the previously used technology.
In addition to Pakistan, Manfredini & Schianchi has also supplied dry preparation plants to companies in Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia and Thailand.
