Marazzi opens its new showroom in Rome
The showroom, inaugurated on January 23rd, is an exclusive experience of elegance and functionality designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
On January 23rd, Marazzi, an international leader in the design and production of ceramic tiles, inaugurated its new exhibition spaces on Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando, in the heart of Rome, an exceptional location designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS, just steps away from the Roman Baths of Diocletian and Palazzo Barberini.
The 400-square-meter showroom, on two levels, welcomes visitors into a stunning space where the versatility of ceramic materials takes center stage, in a perfect balance between innovation and design.
Marazzi Privé, the heart of the project, evokes the exclusive atmosphere of a hotel lobby, combining elegance and functionality, and highlighting the material perception through unprecedented applications. Three settings explore the versatility of Marazzi products, reinterpreting rugs, furniture and ceramic porcelain seating. Here, the use of ceramics demonstrates its ability to offer innovative solutions where advanced technology, adaptability, and timeless beauty take shape. A succession of themed rooms emphasizes the preciousness of Marazzi materials, offering a unique experience that highlights the excellence of the products: from the large slabs, arranged like rich oriental rugs, to the museum shelves that display an exclusive selection of finishes, surfaces, and colors. This transforms the exhibition space into a wunderkammer of colors and materials, evoking artisanal craftmanship, precious marbles, elaborate inlays, and 3D structures.
Mauro Vandini, CEO of Marazzi and President Global Ceramic of Mohawk Industries, comments: “Rome is experiencing a renaissance in the field of design and construction, with numerous initiatives and spaces dedicated to creativity and innovation. Opening a Marazzi space in this city, where one can discover the most modern applications of stylistic research and technology applied to ceramic products, allows us to integrate into a stimulating and constantly evolving environment, where technology and tradition can blend perfectly. A space designed to support our clients and design professionals, offering an ideal reference point for sharing ideas and creative solutions”.
The creation of the new Marazzi exhibition spaces in Rome is the result of valuable collaboration with leading partners such as Flexform, Viabizzuno, Ideal Standard, Foster, and Riflessi.
