Marazzi opens new showrooms in Lyon and Milan
The new showrooms reaffirm Marazzi’s role as a reference brand for the international community of architects and interior designers.
Stylistic research, creativity and innovation are the characteristics of the new Marazzi showrooms in Lyon and Milan, opened one shortly after the other and located in the most vibrant and trendy areas of the two cities where leading international design and furniture brands are concentrated.
The more than 400-square-metre showroom at 117 Avenue Jean Jaurès in Lyon hosts a large area devoted to extra-large porcelain surfaces, a technical area with a materials library, a series of mockups with ideas and examples of possible uses of ceramic for any living space, and an outdoor garden area where visitors can try out exterior products. With the inauguration of the new Lyon showroom, for years Marazzi’s headquarters in France, and the openings in Paris and Le Cannet, the brand now has three showrooms in a country that has historically been one of the Group’s most important markets.
The showroom in Via Borgogna 2 in Milan, in the centre of the Durini design district, likewise stands out for its welcoming and visually-appealing spaces. Expanded and renovated as part of a project by architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, the new showroom was unveiled during the International Furniture Show in April. The redesigned 400 square metre space hosts the new large size porcelain panels and the extensive collection of Marazzi surfaces. The products are displayed in a sequence of innovative theme rooms that highlight their unique characteristics and value, from large-size panels suspended like precious Persian carpets to museum-style shelves that hold the smaller size tiles in a wide range of finishes, surface textures and colours.
