Marazzi redesigns its London showroom in St. John Street
The extra-large slabs from the Grande collection and The Top solutions take centre stage in the restyled showroom in Clerkenwell.
On 17 October, Marazzi inaugurated the new space in its London showroom, an important location for supporting and co-working with customers, dealers, architects and designers opened in the heart of Clerkenwell in 2017.
The space is used to showcase the new extra-large stoneware slabs from the Grande collection and The Top solutions designed for kitchen and bathroom countertops, tables and furnishings. To demonstrate the potential of the new products, more than 300 square metres of slabs are used for the walls, decorative panels, bookcases and reception desk and for the kitchen corner in the showroom.
At the entrance, visitors can admire the glossy surface and handmade effect of Zellige tiles from the recently-launched Crogiolo collection, the result of Marazzi’s research efforts combining craftsmanship with industrial technology.
The countertops in the kitchen area are made entirely from Grande Marble Look Elegant Black porcelain slabs from the new The Top line, which stand out for their exquisite matt, satin and glossy surfaces intended for use as countertops, backsplashes, tables, cabinet doors and a vast array of tailor-made furnishing solutions for residential and commercial spaces.
At the opening event for the new space, Marazzi hosted two Design Talks. Stephanie Woodward (Partner and Head of the Interior Design Division at Cushman & Wakefield) discussed the design of everyday living and working spaces, then Giovanni Iasevoli (Founder and head of GI Development Consulting) discussed the circular economy in large-scale design.
