Marazzi strives for excellence with Evolve technology
As part of its programme of investment in product innovation and new technologies, the global player in the ceramic tile sector, Marazzi, has signed a number of contracts in a few months with Projecta Engineering, a subsidiary of Siti B&T Group, for the acquisition of Evolve's latest generation of digital machines. The facilities in Sassuolo in Italy, Oriol and Malino in Russia, Monarch in Alabama and Dallas in Texas in the new extension project in Sunnyvale, have chosen to decorate the tiles with EVOSeven Plus in four, five or six colours; some of them are equipped with two colour trays for tactile effects, others are configured to enable double line operation, allowing two formats and two separate graphics to be produced using the same machine.
The Evolve digital decoration family - equipped with exclusive, patented technology and combining aesthetics and high quality - enables the user to change the sequence of the inks with great ease, by changing the position of the colour bars. Evoseven/Plus manages up to 7 colour bars, prints at speeds of over 50m/min, and boasts extremely high definition resolution.
