Paolo Mularoni

The passing of Paolo Mularoni, who was struck by a sudden illness at just 45 years old on February 23, has left everyone in disbelief and deep sorrow. As the third generation at the helm of the Del Conca Group, founded in 1979 in San Marino by his grandfather Cino and his father Enzo Donald, Paolo Mularoni embodied with passion and determination the values of a family that contributed to shaping the history of Italian ceramics. In 2014, he played a key role in the group’s overseas expansion with the opening of the factory in Tennessee.

Two years later, following his father’s passing, he became the President of Del Conca USA and Ceramica Faetano, the San Marino parent company of the family multinational, leading it alongside his brothers Davide (President of Ceramica Del Conca) and Marco. It is now Marco who bears the responsibility of carrying on Paolo's legacy, having assumed his roles on February 27.

Paolo Mularoni was widely recognized for his great commitment to work, driven by a strong sense of responsibility and unparalleled dedication. A passionate, courageous, and determined entrepreneur, Paolo will also be remembered by those who knew him for his manners, kindness, and willingness to help others.

Our editorial team joins in the sorrow of many in expressing our deepest condolences to his family and colleagues.
