Migratech technology enters the Chinese market with an order from Dongpeng

Migratech technology from Italian company LB (Fiorano Modenese) has established a presence in the Chinese market this year thanks to an agreement signed with Dongpeng.

A manufacturer of high quality floor and wall tiles sold mainly on the domestic market, Dongpeng decided to install LB plant at its factory in Shandong province. The Migratech dry grinding line for ceramic bodies with microgranulation consists of an MRV 160 vertical roller mill, a GRC 900 microgranulator and EVF 30 fluid bed dryer. The line will feed a press department producing more than 20,000 sq.m of wall tiles a day.

The new Migratech technology will enable Dongpeng to improve the quality of its production process while reducing energy consumption and above all cutting down on the pollution typical of the wet grinding process. This will enable it to fulfil the requirements of its various certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and China's Environmental Labeling Certification.

This agreement between Dongpeng and LB will continue throughout 2015 and represents a very important recognition for Italian technology in a market where local production is expected to increase in both volume and quality in the coming years.
