The new Ceramic World Review app
In response to the growing interest amongst readers, Tile Edizioni has developed new and more functional apps for its magazines Ceramic World Review, Brick World Review, Tile Italia and Tile International.
New versions of all four applications were launched on App Store in February.
Alongside major graphic and aesthetic improvements, the biggest changes are functional.
Browsing the magazine archive is now quicker and simpler thanks to a fast-loading low-resolution preview of all pages. Once the high-resolution version has loaded it is also possible to zoom in for a high-quality visual experience. The multimedia contents are clearly identified by large icons that indicate whether they are links, videos or photo galleries. A symbol in the navigation menu turns red when pages with extra contents are selected. The links are also displayed directly in the app without the inconvenience of having to open the browser and subsequently return to the app.
The addition of a tutorial makes all the app functions easy to understand and use.
The reading language (Italian or English) can be chosen manually and is no longer automatically geolocated.
Last but not least, the magazine can be downloaded in a pdf format for rapid offline reading.
Speed, efficiency and beauty are the characteristics shared by your iPad and the Tile Edizioni apps.
