New Durst digital printers for the Del Conca Group

The number of Durst digital printers used in the Del Conca Group's plants increases to ten.

In the first four months of the year, four new machines were ordered for the production sites of Ceramiche Del Conca, Pastorelli and Del Conca USA.

For the Del Conca plant in San Clemente (Rimini), the new Durst Gamma 120 HD-RS has been chosen, specific for the decoration of large-format tiles (100x150 cm). Pastorelli (Savignano sul Panaro, Modena) has opted for a Gamma 75 HD-NRS in the new N series, characterised by the exclusive ink supply system, which offers significant economic advantages, with a superior print and decoration quality.

The Group has purchased two Gamma 75 HD-RS printers for the production site in Loudon (Tennessee, USA) opened at the beginning of the year. In this last case, Durst actively collaborated both in training of the American personnel and in the installation, testing and start-up phase, performing calibration and chromatic alignment of the US plant with the Italian specifications via a process of linearization of the lines and chromatic comparison of the colours.

Del Conca Group, headed by Enzo D. Mularoni, is one of the main industrial groups in the Italian ceramic sector, with a global turnover of 121 million euro and approximately 480 employees working in four companies (Ceramica Faetano is also part of the group).

The decision to rely on Durst further strengthens a consolidated relationship, which began in 2006 with installation of the first digital printing line at the plant in San Clemente, Rimini.
